    it’s pronounced “sell-tix”. not “kell-tix”

Hi frnkenfish:Why do the developers of the software pronounce it with a “k” rather than an “s”? I tend to think they know how to pronounce their own software.

yeah i want the good foundation of script writing. such as theory ( like in accounting you can learn debits and credits but you want to learn to be able to have the theory to be able to explain why you are doing what you are doing to be creative and think outside the box) you want the techincal then build off of that . I dig what you are saying tho.

you could go that route. i majored in english (writing emphasis) and i minored in screenwriting. its kinda bullshit to major in screenwriting because the industry really only hires people with life experience. unless your shit is amazing. theater courses wont really help you develop screenplays unless your writing for the theater. write about what you know, then purchase editing software. i know engineering graduates that write. its all about dedication.

so communications major is a better rout. I would not mind being able to do both. like tyler perry to go from theater to movie screen. im not a tyler perry fan but he was able to make the transition. im sure there is a major difference for screen and theater. it sounds communication would be better if you are unable to go to film school correct ? I have a fall back position now (Accounting).

Such wise and inspiring words Ric :)You’re spot on, It is all about dedication. I see this type of writing as one of these things that schools and colleges CAN help you with…although if you have a bit of savvy you can teach yourself. 5 star video thank-you, you have made getting my ideas down MUCH easier.
