But I think it’s good to have also this kind of movie cause it explains how these people probably got into this situation. Many people in society tend to look down on them but don’t know anything about their probably sad upbringing or life.One has to watch the full movie- it’s quite sad but very touching.

Yes-watching this for the first I found the movie quite weird. It’s a bit surreal cause I guess it is sometimes from the point of view of Mike- the blonde guy played by River Phoenix. He is suffering from narcolepsy, which means he falls asleeps all of a sudden in stressfull situations. Some of the scenes are like dream sequences. For someone like me with a quite “normal” life it is also a bit strange stuff cause it shows the life of streetkids and prostitutes.

This movie isn’t really about “Sex” or being hetero/gay. It’s about the unfullfilled longing for love and friendship. Sex is only at the surface.

Yeah it is such an amazing film. I just watched it and I feel like watching it all over again. The acting was so good!

Well it’s from early 90′s! I know that the ratings have changed, I mean the the sex scene isnt bad, it’s just like heavy making out and you can see that anywhere not just in movies, I would recomend watching it

Drug use isnt a bad thingg. Its the sex. Which doesnt make sense. To me. My mom and dad are weird about stuff like that

This movie is AMAZING!! River Phoenix is the best…I haven’t seen it in awhile but from what I remember it’s not all that bad. There is sexual content and language…but I cannot remember if there is any drug use.
