“John August, the acclaimed screenwriter of GO, BIG FISH, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and THE CORPSE BRIDE, makes his directorial debut with THE NINES, an intricately constructed intriguing blur of reality, virtual reality and metaphysical fantasy. You’re clearly a moron who didn’t understand the films plot at all, then. Please keep your stupidity out of serious artistic circles. :D

And how do you explain when Sierra (i think) say that he is only one of the nines? it means that exists a lots of nines… Even you conclusion is interesting (about Jesus) i dont think it’s right, and there’s another fact, she said that they exists for 4.000yrs, Jesus just exists for 2.000

  24. By JonnyBoyMach2, February 3, 2010 @ 6:53 pm

Wow – this trailer made the film seem much more of a thriller than the neat little metaphysical drama that it was.

This film makes sense right at the end when you realise that he’s actually jesus! All humans are “7″, hes a “9″ and God is a “10″. All 3 stages of the film is him trying to experience different types of human life. Act 1= drugs and destruction. Act 2= success. Act 3= family life. Watch again and see for yourself. ;))
