swearing is not recoomended it all depends on what age grou u want the audience to be it might be ok for adults but even some adults dont appreciate swearing and no dont give up! i kno that u could make a great movie one day

Swearing is ok, movies like Jarhead, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas etc use it lots.

However you need to use the word smartly and casually because excessive sweraring is indeed just pointless and not smart. Though if you can make the sweraring lines smart in the movie it really adds the magic too it and even better, though i do agree to a certain extent though that enough is enough with some swearing. Although your movie does not have to be completey adult to be enjoyable.

@sarahpainify I actually have seen several crime movies where the word fuck is used a lot. The Departed is one example.

Note: Don’t say fucking too much in your movie scripts or any movies you plan to make.

This really gets annoying and will do to anybody who watches it, besides i guess swear fanatics. Swearing is good once every 5 or so lines, but not every line.

    Just my opinion. GL

Well, the plot will only be good if YOU will like it. I’m not sure how much time you have left,
but doing such a thing takes time, you need to think about the details of every character and make every scene/dialogue make sense. Of course this is not easy, but I believe if you try, you will make a great movie script, since I’m sure you have what it takes. Think about it a lot, get inspired or just be creative. Giving up is the worst thing you can do. The only thing I can do is to wish you luck.

i would not give up, i think you should just expand on the script and add some dialogue and everything will come together in the end.

Wait, wasting time making a movie script? Your making it sound like a chore and you have to do it for the sake of it. its a option you chosen to do so its not wasting time.

And if you think movie driecting is a easy job then think again. Most movie directors have to travel loads like it or not, wake up as early as 5am for some scenes to shoot and spend hundreds of hours making a accurate entertaining script. Not half an hour.

Its annoying hearing you whining at least do something about it.
