At This Year’s Oscars, History was Made Twice
On Sunday, Kathryn Bigelow became the first woman to win Best Director in the Academy Awards’ 82-year history.
Geoffrey Fletcher, who won Best Adapted Screenplay for Precious, became the first African-American to win an Oscar for screenwriting.

Wolverince Sequel To Start Filming Soon, Script Complete
ShowBiz411 is reporting that the sequel to last year’s blockbuster X-Men Origins: Wolverine will begin filming soon, with the script already completed. Screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie (X-Men, Valkyrie) has prepared a first draft of the script.
