Script Doctor Eric’s Screenplay Competition

Script Doctor Eric’s Screenplay Competition

Objective:

Another screenwriting contest? Why the heck should I enter this one?

When asked about screenwriting contests, I always recommend smaller ones – they give you a far better chance of placing, or even winning.

I’ve limited this contest to one hundred entries. When I receive 100 scripts – and entry fees – the contest will be closed.

The other reason I’m limiting it to 100 scripts is because I’m reading them all myself.

Because the WORST thing about most screenwriting contests is that you never know who reads your scripts. The unpaid intern? The unpaid intern’s parents? Have they ever even read a script before, let alone written one? Who knows.

In this contest, I, Script Doctor Eric, will read each and every one of your scripts looking for the most well-written, entertaining, and marketable movie. All genres.

Deadline:
March 31st, 2010 (Or 100 scripts – whichever comes first.)

Entry Fee:
$35 – No feedback; $50 – Feedback (1 page of comments, notes, and suggestions)
