How much is the cost of making a film with special effects?
I am making a film and I want to hire someone to createCGI special effects (cosmological environments) and some VXF compositing.
Can any one give me a ball park figure?
Are some environments less expensive then others?
How are projects evaluated by the animator?

I can do those type of effects for you at a reasonable price, depending upon how complex they are.
I am a matte artist from way back (mostly on low-budget features), and now I do a fair amount of CGI work, especially environments.
I also work as a Post Production Supervisor, editing on a daily basis, so I have some professional equipment to play with.
