i wanted to know if it is a must have part of a serious screenplay. I want my screenplay to cell. I have some description of the characters in the beginning. Do i need a lot? and do i need imagery before every scene?

I just completed a screenplay I worked off and on for 5 years. How can I find a legitimate Producer?
I did submit the screenplay to a well-known competition but it’s a non-profit and even if I win( will know in a few months) I can still shop the script. Even if my screenplay needs revisions the concept I believe has the potential to be a major action movie. It will need a healthy budget since it is set in the future and will require animated sets to blend with the rest of the script. I want someone with a major, solid background to option the script. The idea behind my plot is so unique I am sure…

I’m working at a screenplay, and was just wondering if there are any processes to go through if you want to use any real property names in your screenplay. Not quite sure how that works.

Because you never see movie that follow it, even if the do cut out parts, cuz then they just add their own stuff.
So I was wondering, if I were to write a screenplay pretty much coping the book, will I get in trouble?
I know that one of the reasons they don’t follow the book is because of the length of the movie, so please don;t say this in your answer.

I ask one publishing company after another and they keep turning me down without even taking the time to read my work, what should I do? Is this world all about the rich and famous and who has the money to pay their way through?
I have been writing song lyrics for 18 years, I just completed my first book, and a screenplay manuscript. They are all in the correct format, the right amount of pages, the entire deal and still, all I get is they are unsolicited! Well what is solicited? I have had agents turn me down…

I have this plot idea but I think it would work even better if I added one of Taylor Swifts songs in the Screenplay and this would come at the very very end of the movie/script. It would totally go with the whole Main Idea of the plot and it wouldn’t change the meaning of the song. Are there rights I need BEFORE I can write the screenplay WITH the song or no? If I can’t use the song, then that’s totally understandable.

I’ve finished a draft of my current screenplay, and I’ve noticed that most every sentence starts with “The” or my characters’ names. Does anyone know a way I can add a little variety in order to break up the monotony?
