Apparently every good writer should set the tone of the writing—the author’s voice….
If Im doing a screenplay, the only voice you will hear are the character’s. So how can I give it an ‘author’s voice’?

Do you include a summary at the beginning of your screenplay, so the agents or whatever know what they’re about to read? Do you include a list of the characters? I have a book on screenwriting but it doesn’t mention this….but I would think you’d have too. Do you?
